Abstract
Automated QMS automates, streamlines and effectively manages the audit process. It provides advanced tracking capability from scheduling and planning to execution and completion. It offers best practice forms for tracking basic audit information and audit findings. From the initial collection of requirements, it is clear that APEX needs an impactful system that will connect all members from the different departments into a single platform for the performance of their operations and to use ICT to significantly reshape and support its processes, specifically documentation, corrective action and preventive action (CAPA) and conducting internal audits amongst others. Automated QMS will replace current manual QMS system in an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization. It’s a web based system. Objectives: The system should be able to produce reports of any audit undertaken, The system should be able to support documentation and internal audits and The system should be able to handle feedback.
