Abstract
Library management has become a big challenge in most institutions especially if I take the case of KIBUKO due to use of system that are manually operated and hence led to delays in deliverance of the intended services . Due to this I intend to come up with a Library Information System which is an automated system that manages the various activities in a library. This system will allow users to log in online and register to be members. The system also enable the administration to add categories of books ,remove or add books, search or issue books and indicate return dates and fines overdue.
